The install may occur in two parts

1) If installing from the website, download and extract the installation files.
If installing from CD, place CD in CD drive and go directly to Install the application.

2) Install the application.

Extract the installation files (only if installing from the website)

1. Click ‘Download Now’ from the JewelryInsight.com Jewelry Insight download page.

2. Click ‘Open’ to start the download.

3. The default destination of the extracted files is c:\program files\jmgr-fe.

4. Click ‘Unzip’.

5. When the extraction is complete, click, ‘OK’.

6. Click ‘Close’.

Install the Application

If installing from the website, from the ‘Start’ menu, click ‘Start’ -> ‘Run’, type 'c:\downloads\jmgr-fe\setup.exe'
If installing from the cd, and it doesn't start automatically, from the ‘Start’ menu, click ‘Start’ -> ‘Run’, type 'd:\setup.exe' (where 'd' is your cd drive)

Click ‘OK’ to begin the install and follow the prompts.

Note: Some files that the application will install may be earlier versions than your pc has. If this occurs, you will be prompted to keep or replace your more current version. Click ‘Yes’ to keep your more current version

MS Access 2003 Runtime (only when the software detects the need)

Jewelry Insight uses a Microsoft Access database. If Access 2003 is already installed on your pc, no additional installation is necessary, otherwise, the program will attempt to install the MS Access 2003 Runtime.

Install the MS Access 2003 Runtime only if:

q You selected the 2003 installation of Jewelry Insight AND

q You do not have Access 2003 installed on your pc AND

q You are running Windows 2000 Service Pack 3, Windows XP or higher
